'Augustus Theinert immigrated from Marklissa (Silesia), Prussia in 1853, arriving in New York City on November 30, 1853. He became a naturalized citizen on October 23, 1874. His birth date on this document is September 18, 1831 … and Theinert is spelled Thaunert.'
'His death certificate is dated Jan. 20, 1904. He was buried in Middletown,CT - his youngest daughter lived there. In your original info, it shows a contact in Middletown as 'Mrs. Anna Briggs', Informant. I am not
sure in what context informant is used. His daughter was originally married to a man by the name of Slade. Now perhaps he died and she remarried. Or, Anna Briggs is a married daughter. In any event, I have not yet found info
on Anna 'Slade or now Briggs'.'
