Obituary
'Fraley Accident
Frank C. Miner, Jr., of 213 Fenn street, was operator of the car which skidded on ice at 1.10 p. m., and hit Mr Fraley. He was removed to the hospital, stayed there one day and went home where he relapsed into a coma and was again taken to the hospital. He failed rapidly until his death, never having regained consciousness. Dr. Chares R. Sullivan, Jr., who attended Mr. Fraley, said tonight that in his opinion a cerebral hemorrhage caused death and resulted from the accident.'

'Dr Hughes said the family had refused to allow him to conduct an autopsy. Miner was arrested on a complaint of operating to endanger and his case is now pending in district court.'

'Mr Fraley was born at Pittsfield October 23, 1856, son of August and May Fraley. For more than 50 years he was a loom fixer at the old Pontoosuc and James Wilson textile mills. He retired in 1927. For several seasons he was employed by the late Peter Hodecker, skipper of the Pontoosuc Lake steamer Lafayette...Read MORE...
