Obituary

Veteran Dies At Napa; Has Chico Relatives.

Benjamin Franklin Salisbury, a well known resident of Wyandotte died Friday night at the Soldiers’ Home at Yountville, Napa county, of which he had been an inmate only a few days. The cause of death was dropsy.

The deceased was born in Maine, February 6, 1932. He served in the Civil war. After the war he and his family came to California and located in Butte county. Mr. Salisbury was highly esteemed by many acquaintances.

He leaves a son, John Salisbury, well known in this part of the country, and two daughters, Mrs. R.R. Dow, of Chico, and another residing in the east.
