Edward Fahey and Miss Jessie Evelyn Head were married last night at the residence of the bride, 42 Park street, Lewiston.
Rev. W. J. Taylor performed the ceremony. Charles Thurston was the best man and Miss Ella Head, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid.
The groom is in the employ of Jas. R. Duneau, the painter, and is well and favorably known. THe bride is a popular young lady.
Mr. and Mrs. Fahey will be at home 42 Park street, in about one week.

Sunday, November 27, 1943

Edward F. Fahey, 68 Littlefield Corner, Auburn, died at his home Friday noon after a lingering illness.

He was born at Augusta, Nov. 22, 1875, the son of Matthew and Ella Keened Fahey. He was a contractor and painter and had lived in Lewiston most of his life.

Mr. Fahey belonged to the Lewiston Fire Association and spent 29 years with the Lewiston Fire Department.

Survivors are his widow, Blanche M. Fahey; a daughter, Mrs. Horace Evans of Auburn; a stepson, Norman Knight, Lewiston; a sister, Mary Draper, Lewiston; a niece, Mrs. Lillian Page, Gardiner; two grandchildren and three nephews.
