Joseph  married  Françoise BLANCHARD 6 November 1752 in Port Royal, Acadia .  Françoise BLANCHARD  was born abt. 1732 in Acadia, Canada (Acadie).  Françoise died 30 November 1757 in Québec, Québec, Canada (Quebec City).  Françoise was the child of Guillaume BLANCHARD and Jeanne DUPUIS.

Joseph  married  (2) Marie Josephe ARSENAULT 3 July 1758 in Québec, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 9 children.
Marie Josephe ARSENAULT  was born abt. 1738 in Acadia, Canada (Acadie).  Marie Josephe died 9 December 1813 in Saint-Jacques, Québec, Canada (Saint-Jacques-de-Montcalm) (Saint Jacques de l’Achigan).  Marie Josephe was the child of Paul ARSENAULT and Madeleine HÉBERT.
