Obituary
THE AUBURN CITIZEN, THURSDAY, DECEMBER 9, 1920

Death of Mrs. H. M. Almy.

Henry Almy, died yesterday afternoon
at the home of her son, C. E. Almy on East Genesee Street, in the 84th year of her age. Her death followed a stroke of apoplexy which occurred last Thursday. She is the last member of a generation whose family was one of the early settlers in Cayuga County and on her mother's side she came from Revolutionary stock. Her father became one of the influential men of the town and was one of the 21 delegates from there to the famous Anti-Masonic Convention held in Auburn, January 2, 1832, of which Leban Hoakins of Union Springs was chairman. After going to the country school, Mrs. Almy attended the Young Ladies' Seminary in ...Read MORE...
