Jean-Baptiste  married  Marguerite ST-JEAN dite LAPERCHE 7 January 1822 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Lower Canada .  The couple had (at least) 7 children.
Marguerite ST-JEAN dite LAPERCHE  was born 20 May 1803 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire, Saint-Hyacinthe-le-Confesseur).  Marguerite died 14 August 1834 in Saint-Pie, Québec, Canada.  Marguerite was the child of Joseph ST-JEAN dit LAPERCHE and Marie-Marguerite JARED dite BEAUREGARD.

Jean-Baptiste MARTIN died 14 February 1860 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Canada East .
