"Madeleine was baptized on 3 August 1653 at Quebec. She married Nicolas Roussin, son of Jean and of Madeleine Giguere on 28 November 1667 at Beauport. The contract was notarized the same day by Vachon. She died and was buried on 29 November 1669 at Chateau-Richer four days after giving birth to her first child, a daughter named Marie. Nicolas married a second time to Madeleine Tremblay with whom he had eleven more children."
