"Mathurin was born on 23 August 1653 and baptized on 7 September at Quebec. He married Charlotte Cauchon, daughter of Jean and of Madeleine Miville, on 28 October 1686 at Chateau-Richer. The contract was notarized the previous day by Jacob senior. They had ten children, three boys and seven girls. Mathurin junior died between 9 October 1711 and 5 November 1715 at Saint-Joachim."
