"Jean, born about 1622; died on the 2nd and buried on 3 September 1693 at Chateau-Richer (70 years old). Married at Quebec on 29 November 1652 (contract Audouart, on the 10th) to Madeleine Miville (1636-after 1708), daughter of Pierre and of Charlotte Maugis (8 sons and 8 daughters). He settled at Chateau-Richer at the latest in 1640, and lived there all his life. In 1681, he owned four head of cattle and twenty arpents of his land were cleared. Madeleine Miville made a donation to the Hotel-Dieu of Quebec on 12 March 1695 (Genaple)."
