"One also finds at Chateau-Richer, in 1647, the mother Renee Roger witnessing the marriage contract of Mathurin... Pierre, her husband, had already died in France, between the dates of 16 December 1630, where he signed for the death of his brother Olivier, and 1633 where, in a notarial act, Renee Roger was called the widow of Pierre Gagnon."
