Daniel W. Hill and Mary E. Payson were married at 821 Main street, Lewiston (Barkerville) on Saturday at 2 P. M.

Mr. Hill is still confined to his bed as the result of the bullet-wound at the hands of his father in the tragedy of last Monday morning. He is progressing favorably towards recovery and there is no question now that he will soon be out of doors again.

The wedding was a very informal affair. Mayor Skelton was summoned to the house after dinner and at 2 P. M. tied the knot.

Only the necessary witnesses were present.

Obituary
Daniel Hill, 78, was found dead in his room in Lewiston Sunday, with the windows closed and the gas jets open. He had lived alone since the death of his wife two years ago. The police pronounced death due to suicide.
