THIBEAULT Family Tree – Connecting the Past to the Present!

What started out as our family is now your’s too!

Charles THIBEAULT was born 14 August 1786 in Saint-Ours, Province of Québec, Canada

Charles THIBEAULT was the child of Toussaint THIBEAULT   and   Thérèse-Marie CARPENTIER (CHARPENTIER) and the grandchild of: (paternal)  Nicolas THIBAULT and Marie-Thérèse MASTA (maternal)  Joseph CARPENTIER and Marie-Thérèse LEFEBVRE

Spouse(s)/Partner(s) and Child(ren):

Charles  married  Marie-Elizabeth-Isabelle TAILLON dite LATAILLE 13 October 1806 in Sorel, Lower Canada .  The couple had (at least) 12 children.
Marie-Elizabeth-Isabelle TAILLON dite LATAILLE  was born 18 December 1785 in Sorel, Québec, Canada (Saint-Pierre).  Marie-Elizabeth-Isabelle died 26 October 1828 in Sorel, Québec, Canada (Saint-Pierre).  Marie-Elizabeth-Isabelle was the child of Louis-Charles MICHEL TAILLON dit LATAILLE and Geneviève DUGUAY dite LAFRANCHISE.

Charles  married  (2) Felicite DORVAL 9 February 1830 in Sorel, Lower Canada .  The couple had (at least) 8 children.
Felicite DORVAL  was born 6 December 1806 in Sorel, Québec, Canada (Saint-Pierre).  Felicite died 18 October 1888 in Grafton, Massachusetts, USA (Saundersville) (Fisherville).  Felicite was the child of Jean-Baptiste DORVAL and Marie-Louise COMEAU.

Charles THIBEAULT died 13 March 1842 in Sorel, Lower Canada .

NOTE: It is likely that Charles Thibeault was born in St-Ours, Québec. Some of the data I have found indicates that the year of birth might be 1773, 1776, 1778, or 1786. The records from St-Ours from that time period are difficult if not impossible to read. His 1806 marriage (left) indicates the correct parents.

He was possibly baptised 14 Aug 1786 Sorel, Pierre-De Saurel, Quebec, Canada. Marie Charlotte Thibault (recorded as female, probably an error).

Details of the family tree of Charles appear below.
