Dorothy 'Dot' (Blessing) Lasker, of Glastonbury, widow of Joseph Lasker, died Wednesday, (August 30, 2000) in Glastonbury Health Care Center. She was born in Glastonbury and was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Lasker was a member of the Residents Council of Glastonbury Health Care Center. She leaves three daughters, Nancy Stackhouse of Georgetown, TX, Carol Wice of Bloomfield, and Holly Maiorano of Marlborough; three sisters, Marion Garavelli of South Windsor, and Thelma Merritt and Constance Connery, both of East Hartford; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Judith Marenzana; and two brothers, Raymond Blessing and Woodrow Blessing.
