Dorothy "Dot" (Blessing) Lasker, of Glastonbury, widow of Joseph Lasker, died Wednesday, (August 30, 2000) in Glastonbury Health Care Center. She was born in Glastonbury and was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Lasker was a member of the Residents Council of Glastonbury Health Care Center. She leaves three daughters, Nancy Stackhouse of Georgetown, TX, Carol Wice of Bloomfield, and Holly Maiorano of Marlborough; three sisters, Marion Garavelli of South Windsor, and Thelma Merritt and Constance Connery, both of East Hartford; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Judith Marenzana; and two brothers, Raymond Blessing and Woodrow Blessing. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 5, 10 a.m., in theFarley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road, Wethersfield. Burial will be held in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Friends may call Monday, 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Glastonbury Health Care Center ResidentFund, 1175 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury, CT 06033.
