Obituary
MRS. MARY A. BARNES

ROCHDALE, May 23. - Mrs. Mary A. (Boardman) Barnes, widow of Benjamin F. Barnes, 85 years old, died this morning at her home on Pleasant street, Greenville.

Born in England, daughter of John W. Boardman, and Alice (Aspinwall) Boardman, she came to this country when a young girl, coming directly to this village, where she had lived ever since. She was one of the oldest members of Christ Episcopal Church and for a great many years sang in the choir.

She is survived by five daughters, 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The daughters are Mrs. Annetta Penny and Mrs. Eva E. White, both of Lawrence; Mrs. Emma B. Warren of Worcester, and Mrs. Alice G. Peterson and Mrs. M. Ethel Sabagen, both of Rochdale.

The funeral will be strickly private and will be held Monday in the A. E. Kingsley Funeral parlors in Spencer, with Rev. George Stockwell of Christ Church officiating. Burial will be in Gore Cemetery, Oxford.
