Lea DESMARAIS was the child of Victor DESMARAIS   and   Edwige DALPE dite PARISEAU and the grandchild of: (paternal)  Jean-Baptiste DESMARAIS and Madeleine LACASSE (maternal)  Michel DALPE dit PARISEAU and Louise DANSEREAU

Lea was an immigrant to the United States, arriving by 1870.

Lea  married  Arthur LAROSE abt. 1875 .  The couple had (at least) 5 children.
Arthur LAROSE  was born 8 March 1852 in Verchères, Québec, Canada (Saint-François-Xavier-de-Vercheres).  Arthur was the child of Silvain CHAGNON dit LAROSE and Sophronie PROVOST.

Lea DESMARAIS died 11 April 1911 in New Bedford, Massachusetts, USA.
