MOSHER—At his late home in Aurora, N.Y., Saturday afternoon, November 24, 1906, Allen Mosher, in the 82nd year of his age.
ALLEN MOSHER DEAD-Had Spent His Entire Life in the County of Cayuga
Allen Mosher of Aurora, one of Cayuga county's oldest citizens, died at his home in the village of Aurora, Saturday afternoon after a very brief illness, angina pectoris causing death.
He was a son of the late Cynthia Wood and Asael Mosher, and was born in the Town of Venice March 15, 1825.
In l856 he moved to the Village of Aurora and engaged in the grain business with Henry and Edwin B. Morgan in the days when great quantities were handled in the storehouses
and canal boats on Cayuga Lake. Since 1865 he has been in the banking business with the First National Bank of Aurora. He has been a cashier for 40 years.
