Jean GONTHIER  was born abt. 1714 in Québec Province, Canada (Quebec).  Jean died 21 November 1749 in Isle-aux-Coudres, Québec, Canada (Saint-Louis-de-l'Isle-aux-Coudres).  Jean was the child of Louis GONTHIER and Geneviève GAGNÉ.

Marie-Josephte  married  (2) Jean-Baptiste MALTAIS 13 November 1753 in Les Éboulements, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 3 children.
Jean-Baptiste MALTAIS  was born 18 January 1728 in Poitiers, France.  Jean-Baptiste died 19 May 1801 in Les Éboulements, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption-des-Eboulements). 

Marie-Josephte GAGNON died 19 February 1806 in Les Éboulements, Lower Canada .
