He married  Marie-Josephte GAGNON 11 November 1737 in Les Éboulements, Canada, New France .  Marie-Josephte GAGNON  was born 2 October 1718 in Baie-Saint-Paul, Québec, Canada (Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul-de-Baie-Saint-Paul).  She died 19 February 1806 in Les Éboulements, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption-des-Eboulements).  She was the daughter of Joseph-Marie GAGNON and Marie-Madeleine TREMBLAY.
