of Medina twp. d. Oct. 4, 1896. One of Michigans early pioneers; he came to Mich. 1841. b. in town of Scipio, Cauyga co., N.Y. May 20, 1812. A few yrs. after his birth his parents moved to Clarkson, Monroe co. He m. Caroline L. Hyames Jan. 8. 1835, living there a few yrs. Coming to Mich. 1841 he settled in Medina twp. on farm where he res. til death. Leaves wife and 5 children - Albert J. of Kan. Mrs. Francis A. Frisbie of Vanburen co. Mich; Albert B. of Medina, Mrs. Sarah C. Yeagley of Hudson and Miss Flora J. of Median. At time of death he was aged 84y 4m 14d. Funeral held at Bapt. church, Medina Tues. Oct. 6th by Rev. H.A. Putnam of Hudson; interment in Medina cemetery.
