Marie-Anne TREMBLAY  was born 9 March 1741 in Isle-aux-Coudres, Québec, Canada (Saint-Louis-de-l'Isle-aux-Coudres).  Marie-Anne died 28 February 1770 in Isle-aux-Coudres, Québec, Canada (Saint-Louis-de-l'Isle-aux-Coudres).  Marie-Anne was the child of Andre TREMBLAY and Catherine BOUCHARD.

Louis-Marie  married  (2) Genevieve CARON 13 August 1770 in Saint-Joachim, Montmorency, Province of Québec, Canada .  The couple had (at least) 7 children.
Genevieve CARON  was born 8 October 1748 in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Québec, Canada (Beaupre).  Genevieve died 1 March 1831 in La Malbaie, Québec, Canada (Murray Bay) (Saint-Etienne-de-la-Malbaie) (Saint-Fidèle) (Pointe-au-Pic).  Genevieve was the child of François CARON and Gertrude DELAGE.

Louis-Marie BOULIANNE dit LE SUISSE died 11 July 1824 in La Malbaie, Lower Canada .

Did You Know? Québec Généalogie - What is a 'dit/dite' name?  When the first settlers came to Québec from France it was a custom to add a 'dit' nickname to the surname. The English translation of 'dit' is 'said'. The Colonists of Nouvelle France added 'dit' names as distinguishers. A settler might have wanted to differentiate their family from their siblings by taking a 'dit' name that described the locale to which they had relocated. The acquiring of a 'dit' name might also be the result of a casual adoption, whereby the person wanted to honor the family who had raised them. Another reason was also to distinguish themselves by taking as a 'dit' name the town or village in France from which they originated. This custom ended around 1900 when people began using only one name, either the 'dit' nickname or their original surname.
