from Rootsweb.com -- "Anne Gaudin was about 17 yrs old at the time of her marriage to Rene Delavoye. After having endured the anguish of the Iroquois attack in the Spring of 1661, and the major earthquake in the winter of 1663, Anne Gaudin is laid to rest in the old ancestors cemetery, next to St. Anne's church, Feb 27, 1678. She died 20 days following the birth of her 9th child Joseph. Anne Gaudin's godparents were: Jean Alemant & Anne Letan."
