Marguerite GIROUX was the child of Gabriel GIROUX   and   Marguerite ST-YVES and the grandchild of: (paternal)  Jean-Baptiste GIROUX and Geneviève DUPUIS (maternal)  François-Marie ST-YVES and Marie-Josephe-Dorothee BISSONNET (BISSONNETTE)

Marguerite was an immigrant to the United States, arriving by 1867.

Marguerite  married  Alexis CYRIAC (TIRIAC) 7 January 1811 in La Prairie, Lower Canada .  The couple had (at least) 13 children.
Alexis CYRIAC (TIRIAC)  was born 20 May 1785 in Chambly, Québec, Canada (Saint-Joseph-de-Chambly).  Alexis died 20 June 1871 in Swanton, Vermont, USA.  Alexis was the child of Pierre-Francois-Xavier THIRIAC dit LAFOREST and Victoire-Charlotte PIVERT dite PARISIEN.

Marguerite GIROUX died 15 December 1888 in Swanton, Vermont, USA.
