Parents Robert Melvin Armstrong and Rosa Savilla Hetrick. descendants of Armstrongs from Ireland, some served in American revolution. I may have been named for Daniel Armstrong who was born in Ireland, but there are other Daniel Armstrongs I am related to. They called themselves Pennsylvania Dutch, immigrated from Germany and a few from Switzerland. Five children lived beyond infancy in order: Kimber, Richard, Jewell A, June and Alice.
