After working as a nanny in Johnstown PA she moved to Niagara Falls NY. She sometimes had to work two jobs, later remarried Jack Butler. She was an active member and volunteer for the Salvation Army church. Her late years in Niagara Falls were in a residence for seniors. She then moved to a nursing home in Jamestown, NY where she had siblings.
