The body of Ralph Thompson was brought from New York City Tuesday and buried In the Maple Avenue Cemetery. Mr. Thompson was a resident of Patterson in his younger days. His parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. James Thompson. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Fred Timmerman.

The death of Mr. Ralph Penny Thompson occurred early Saturday morning in Bellevue Hospital, New York City, following an emergency operation for gastric ulcers. Peritonitis developed and although a transfusion of blood was also given he was unable to rally. Mr Thompson was born in this village 57 years ago, a son of the late James H. and Julia (Penny) Thompson and his boyhood and youth were spent here where he was popular with a large circle of his own age for his happy fun loving disposition. MRS. FREDERIC TIMMERMAN
Mrs. Celema Timmerman, aged 78, died last Wednesday at her home in Bayport, after a long illness. Born in Patterson N.Y., she moved to Morrisville, Vt. in 1921, and resided there until 1953. Since then she had made her home in Bayport. She was the widow of Frederic Timmerman who died in January 1940. She is survived by one son, Col. F.W. Timmerman, with the U.S. Army Medical Corps in Stuttgart, Germany, one daughter, Mrs. Martin H. Tiffany of Bayport, four grandsons and one great-granddaughter. She reposed at Raynor's Chapel, Sayville, until Friday when services were held in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Patchogue at eight p.m. Interment took place in Pleasant View Cemetery, Morrisville, Vt. on Monday.
