Pierre "Peter" THÉRIAULT was the child of Pierre THÉRIAULT   and   Madeleine-Rosalie NADEAU and the grandchild of: (paternal)  Pierre THÉRIAULT and Marie-Louise-Geneviève GAUVIN (maternal)  Gabriel NADEAU and Marie-Rose OUELLET

Pierre "Peter"  married  Marie-Angélique EMERY dite CODERRE 17 October 1826 in Yamaska, Lower Canada .  The couple had (at least) 5 children.
Marie-Angélique EMERY dite CODERRE  was born 22 October 1804 in Saint-Ours, Québec, Canada (Immaculée-Conception).  Marie-Angélique died 4 March 1834 in Saint-Hugues, Québec, Canada.  Marie-Angélique was the child of François-Marie EMERY dit CODERRE and Geneviève MEUNIER dite LAPIERRE.

Pierre "Peter"  married  (2) Marie Marguerite "Margaret" SURPRENANT 12 January 1836 in L'Acadie, Lower Canada .  The couple had (at least) 9 children.
Marie Marguerite "Margaret" SURPRENANT  was born 21 July 1813 in La Prairie, Québec, Canada (St-Philippe) (St-Jean-François-Régis) (La Nativité).  Marie Marguerite "Margaret" died 18 December 1889 in Southbridge, Massachusetts, USA (Globe) (Lensdale) (Saundersdale) (Shuttleville).  Marie Marguerite "Margaret" was the child of Pierre SURPRENANT and Marie-Madeleine GERVAIS.

Pierre "Peter" THÉRIAULT died 8 January 1871

Came from St. Bernard, Lacolle, Canada to Southbridge, Massachusetts in 1855. Source: Repetoire of Marriages, Southbridge, Massachusetts

He is very likely my first ancestor to arrive in Southbridge.
