Étiennette PAQUET (PASQUIER)  was born 24 November 1671 in Québec, Québec, Canada (Quebec City).  Étiennette died abt. 1716 in Rivière-des-Prairies, Montréal, Québec, Canada (Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rivière-des-Prairies)*.  Étiennette was the child of Étienne PAQUET (PASQUIER) and Henriette ROUSSEAU.

Toussaint  married  (2) Elisabeth BAUDREAU (BEAUDREAU) 24 May 1717 in Rivière-des-Prairies, Montréal, Canada, New France .  Elisabeth BAUDREAU (BEAUDREAU)  was born 3 May 1673 in Montréal, Québec, Canada (Sault-au-Récollet) (Côte-St-Michel) (Côte-St-Paul).  Elisabeth died 21 July 1727 in Montréal, Québec, Canada (Sault-au-Récollet) (Côte-St-Michel) (Côte-St-Paul).  Elisabeth was the child of Urbain BOUDROT (BAUDREAU) dit GRAVELINE and Marguerite-Mathurine JUILLET.

Toussaint  married  (3) Marie-Françoise AUGER 30 September 1727 in Montréal, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 5 children.
Marie-Françoise AUGER  was born 11 February 1704 in Montréal, Québec, Canada (Sault-au-Récollet) (Côte-St-Michel) (Côte-St-Paul).  Marie-Françoise died 2 June 1785 in Laval, Québec, Canada (Saint François-de-Sales-de-l'Ile-Jésus).  Marie-Françoise was the child of Jean-Baptiste AUGER dit BARON and Marie-Françoise BON dite LACOMBE.

Did You Know? Québec Généalogie - What is a 'dit/dite' name?  When the first settlers came to Québec from France it was a custom to add a 'dit' nickname to the surname. The English translation of 'dit' is 'said'. The Colonists of Nouvelle France added 'dit' names as distinguishers. A settler might have wanted to differentiate their family from their siblings by taking a 'dit' name that described the locale to which they had relocated. The acquiring of a 'dit' name might also be the result of a casual adoption, whereby the person wanted to honor the family who had raised them. Another reason was also to distinguish themselves by taking as a 'dit' name the town or village in France from which they originated. This custom ended around 1900 when people began using only one name, either the 'dit' nickname or their original surname.
