'Jean was baptized on 14 November 1650 at Sainte-Croix-de-Mortagne. he married Jeanne Paquet, daughter of Maurice and of Francoise Forget on 5 February 1679 at Quebec... Before his marriage to Jeanne he had a son by Claude Damise on 23 March 1676. Claude was married to Pierre Perthuis at the time. Jean died on 26 July 1717 and was buried the next day at Charlesbourg.'
