Death

Charles Soper died suddenly at his home in Keeseville today. Mr. Soper was born in Peru, Dec 27, 1862, the son of Briggs and Emily Soper. He married Nellie Ferris [11 Apr 1886] and lived in Peru, then at Keeseville.
He is survived by two sons, Maynard Soper, Keeseville, and Albert Soper of Willsboro; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Burpee, Keeseville, and Mrs. Fred Mitchell, Ticonderoga; 13 grandchildren. The late Briggs Soper of Peru was his third son.
Funeral services will be held from Mr. Soper’s home in Keeseville. Burial will be in the Methodist cemetery at Peru.
