Mrs. Freddie May Nelson Williams, 84, a resident of the Spencer Addition in Dark Canyon for the past 28 years, died Saturday in St. Francis Hospital.
Mrs. Williams was born May 20, 1878, in Mason County, Tex.
She is survived by four sons, William Nelson, Newton Nelson, Clark Nelson, Carlsbad, Claude Nelson, Orville, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. Lonnie L. Barber, Eunice, Mrs. Mary Wilson, Mrs. Hester Holmes, Mrs. Elsie Carpenter, Carlsbad; a sister, Mrs. Mittie Till, Locker, Tex.; 48 grandchildren, 86 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday in the Carpenter Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Leon Goforth of the Church of God, will officiate.
