Dr. William M. Robb, formerly of Guilford, who has many friends in Brattleboro, and Miss Gertrude M Petts of Marlow. N. H were married Sept. 18th, by Rev. L. O. Williams, brother-in-law of the bride, at his home in Ashmont, Mass. On the following day Dr. and Mrs. Robb returned to Marlow, where the doctor has had a large and growing practlce several years. A reception was held in the hall of Forest House, which was beautifully decorated with clematis, ferns and autumn leaves. About 100 intimate friends were present. Mr. and Mrs. George A. Petts of Marlow and Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Robb of Gullford, parents of tho bride and groom, assisted in receiving. The bride was dressed in a dove colored silk lansdowne and carried white carnations. Refreshments were served by Mr. Buswell, landlord of tho hotel. The many presents included gold coin silver and china ware, and other useful and ornamental articles. The out of town friends wero Dr. and Mrs. O. M. George, Harry George and Mrs Chas. H. Robb of Bellows Falls. Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Robb of Guilford, Frank E. Robb of Boston, Dr. and Mrs. Osterhout of Gllsum. Mr. and Mrs. E. A Fox, Mrs. Fred Towns and Mr. and Mrs. James H. Goodhue of Keene.
