HE WAS THE FATHER OF 12 CHILDREN:

ALEXANDER, DE-ESTING, SMITH, LOVINA
SARAH, CHARLOTTE AND ABIGAIL.
WAS 1ST LIEUT. IN THE FRENCH AND INDIAN WAR AND SERVED FROM 1755 TO 1759.
WAS IN SEVERAL BATTLES AT TICONDEROGA
WHERE GOOD MEN FELL.
HIS BROTHER WAS KILLED BY HIS SIDE
AND HE HAD 9 BALLS SHOT IN HIS SIDE.
HE WAS IN THE BATTLE
ON THE PLAINS OF ABRAHAM.
WHERE WOLF FELL:
SERVED IN THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR
AND DIED MARCH 1829.
AGED 104 YEARS.
