Funeral for Mrs. Leona M. Kaiser, 83, 104 S. Ranch St., will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Sunset Funeral Chapel, Grover City, with the Rev. Dr. Charles N. Gibbs of the First Christian Church officiating. Inurnment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Glendale. Mrs. Kaiser, born April 7, 1889, in Hollowell, Maine, died March 16 in a Santa Maria hospital. A Santa Maria resident since 1968, Mrs. Kaiser was a former Grover City resident and a teacher with the Lucia Mar Unified School District, retiring in 1962. Mrs. Kaiser was a member of the Triangle Grange of Arroyo Grande, the Arroyo Grande Grandmothers Club, the Ramona Chapter, Order of Eastern Star of Arroyo Grande; Madonna White Shrine No. 36 of San Luis Obispo, Santa Lucia Court, Order of Amaranth of Arroyo Grande; the Santa Maria Senior Citizens, and the First Christian Church of Santa Maria. She had been active in the Order of Eastern Star for 65 years and was one of the oldest active members in California.
