Germain TALON dit L'ESPÉRANCE  was born 27 June 1802 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire, Saint-Hyacinthe-le-Confesseur).  Germain died 13 October 1871 in Saint-Sébastien, Iberville, Québec, Canada (St-Sebastien).  Germain was the child of Jean-Baptiste TALON dit L'ESPÉRANCE and Marie-Josephe DUMAS.
