Very strict woman, as told to me by my mother. She was a very strict Baptist woman who resented the fact that marrying my grandfather brought her out of her relatively high class family...the Trundy's and Grosses. to Yarmouth where she had 8 children and didn't seemed to ever be happy about it. I never really knew her but she always seemed unhappy to me. My cousin told me a story about one day when Grammy packed her things and walked out the door. When asked where she was going she said, "I'm sick and tired of this life. I want to go home to Deer Isle and I don't care if I have to paddle a rowboat all the way there!" She was in Yarmouth when she passed so I don't think she ever made it back to Deer Isle.
