Mildred Edith BRACY was the child of Myron Ellery BRACY   and   Winifred Faye GROSS and the grandchild of: (paternal)  Herman Gustavus BRACY and Eliza Jane HERRICK (maternal)  Augustus Herbert GROSS and Mary Olive TRUNDY

Mildred Edith BRACY died February 4, 1998 in Yarmouth, Maine, USA.





Aunt Mildred was a wonderful woman. She took care of me when my mother had her hysterectomy. She taught Sunday school and always had lots of coloring papers for me to color on when we'd visit, which was often. She loved her job at IGA and was known over many years as "Millie". I recall a step stool that was designated as mine in her kitchen. When she would be cooking or washing dishes I'd drag the step stool over to her and sit next to her while she worked. It was wooden and the top folded out to become a seat. When we'd enter Aunt Mildred's home it always smelled like wood burning in the fireplace. It was wonderful.
