'Nicolas was the youngest of the Dubois boys. At his baptism on 18 January 1688, he received his first name in honor of the parish of Saint-Nicolas. He had been born on the preceding 8 December...Nicolas lived at Saint-Nicolas from where he was buried on 25 January 1755. He was married to Marie-Therese Chatel who gave him 7 girls and 2 boys, one of whom was named Nicolas.'
