WEBSTER GIRL WEDS IN NEW YORK CITY

NEW YORK, Jan. 31 - Miss Elsie Adelaide Gatzke, 35 of 19 Nelson street, Webster, Mass. and John Fred Korch, 40, of 205 North Main street, Manchester, Conn, obtained a marriage license here this morning. They said the cermony would be performed later today by the city clerk.

Miss Gatzke was born in Dudley, Mass, the daughter of August and Hulda Blumke Gatzke. Mr. Korch was born in East Lyme, Conn., the son of Andrew and Elizabeth Tomko Korch. He was divorsed from Mrs. Mary Korch in Worcester, Augsut 6, 1925.

WEBSTER - Elsie (Gatzke) Korch, 97, of Oakwood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, formerly of 54 Morris St., died Monday in Hubbard Regional Hospital.

Her husband, John Korch, died in 1975. She leaves three sisters, Emma Prahm of North Brookfield, Mildred McNeil of North Dighton and Claire Billings of Webster; nieces and nephews. She was born in Dudley, daughter of August and Hulda (Blumke) Gatzke, and lived in the Dudley-Webster area most of her life.

Mrs. Korch was a weaver many years ago at American Woolen Mills.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Oxford.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Zion Lutheran Church, 70 South Main St., Oxford. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. Calling hours at Scanlon Funeral Home, East Main Street, are 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. tomorrow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 70 South Main St., Oxford, 01540.
