Jacques ROBERT dit LAFONTAINE  was born 2 June 1729 in Chambly, Québec, Canada (Saint-Joseph-de-Chambly).  Jacques died 30 September 1801 in Beloeil, Québec, Canada (Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil).  Jacques was the child of Jacques ROBERT and Jeanne DEMERS (DUMAIS).
