Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Sebastian (Anna) Fischer, 89, formerly of Aberdeen, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. James Zimmer officiating.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery under the direction of the Kreuger-Schriver Mortuary.

Mrs. Fischer died Wednesday, Feb. 8, at Hazel Crest, Ill.

Visitation will be at the mortuary Friday morning and a vigil wake service will be held Friday at 8 p.m. at the mortuary.

Mrs. Fischer was born Sept. 10, 1888, in Strasborg, Russia. She moved with her parents to Aberdeen when she was a young child.

She married Sebastian Fischer in Aberdeen on Jan. 4, 1909.

She formerly resided at 424 N. Lloyd St., Aberdeen.

She is survived by six sons, Andrew, of Salem, Ore.; Philip, of Midlothian, Ill.; Anton and John, both of Ontario, Ore.; Stephen, of Oak Forest, Ill.; and Nick, of Aberdeen; four daughters, Mrs. Edward (Barbara) Vendel, Mokena, Ill.; Mrs. John (Josephine) Wade, Norfolk, Va.; Mrs. John...Read full story
