Joseph  married  Marguerite LEPELE (LEPELLÉ) dite DESMARETS (DESMARAIS) 29 October 1739 in Québec Province, Canada .  The couple had (at least) 2 children.
Marguerite LEPELE (LEPELLÉ) dite DESMARETS (DESMARAIS)  was born 16 January 1703 in Trois-Rivières, Québec, Canada (Three Rivers).  Marguerite died 19 January 1785 in Saint-Cuthbert, Québec, Canada.  Marguerite was the child of Antoine LEPELE (LEPELLÉ) dit DESMARETS (DESMARAIS) and Barbe GODEFROY.

Joseph FAFARD died 8 January 1756 in Berthierville, Canada, New France .
