Charles  married  (2) Marie-Madeleine TARDIF 10 January 1708 in Beauport, Québec, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 6 children.
Marie-Madeleine TARDIF  was born 6 January 1686 in Beauport, Québec, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-de-la-Nativité-de-Beauport).  Marie-Madeleine was the child of Jacques TARDIF and Barbe DORANGE.

Charles  married  (3) Jeanne LABADIE 26 October 1733 in Montréal, Canada, New France .  Jeanne LABADIE  was born 12 March 1674 in L'Ange-Gardien, Montmorency, Québec, Canada.  Jeanne died 10 March 1746 in Terrebonne, Québec, Canada (Saint-Louis-de-Terrebonne).  Jeanne was the child of François LABADIE and Marie-Jeanne HÉBERT dite LECOMTE.

Charles  married  (4) Marie-Agnes EMOND 5 MAY 1749 in Terrebonne, Canada, New France .  Marie-Agnes EMOND  was born 15 February 1691 in Rivière-Ouelle, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-de-Liesse).  Marie-Agnes died 17 August 1778 in Saint-Eustache, Québec, Canada.  Marie-Agnes was the child of Pierre EMOND and Marie-Agnes GRONDIN.

Did You Know? Québec Généalogie - What is a 'dit/dite' name?  When the first settlers came to Québec from France it was a custom to add a 'dit' nickname to the surname. The English translation of 'dit' is 'said'. The Colonists of Nouvelle France added 'dit' names as distinguishers. A settler might have wanted to differentiate their family from their siblings by taking a 'dit' name that described the locale to which they had relocated. The acquiring of a 'dit' name might also be the result of a casual adoption, whereby the person wanted to honor the family who had raised them. Another reason was also to distinguish themselves by taking as a 'dit' name the town or village in France from which they originated. This custom ended around 1900 when people began using only one name, either the 'dit' nickname or their original surname.
