Jacques  married  Marie-Anne LEDUC 29 September 1749 in Verchères, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 11 children.
Marie-Anne LEDUC  was born 29 November 1727 in Verchères, Québec, Canada (Saint-François-Xavier-de-Vercheres).  Marie-Anne died 6 December 1772 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire, Saint-Hyacinthe-le-Confesseur).  Marie-Anne was the child of Pierre-Charles LEDUC and Marie-Madeleine VIEL dite DESNOYERS.

Jacques DUFRESNE died 2 October 1785 in Saint-Charles-sur-Richelieu, Province of Québec, Canada.
