Joseph PEPIN dit LACHANCE  was born 13 August 1787 in Saint-Joachim, Montmorency, Québec, Canada.  Joseph died 20 July 1842 in Sainte-Marie, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Marie-de-Beauce).  Joseph was the child of Louis PEPIN dit LACHANCE and Marie-Josephte POULIN.
