Joseph  married  Marie-Genevieve GUIMOND 11 February 1805 in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Lower Canada .  The couple had (at least) 1 child.
Marie-Genevieve GUIMOND  was born 16 November 1784 in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Québec, Canada (Beaupre).  Marie-Genevieve died 28 October 1875 in Saint-Jacques, Québec, Canada (Saint-Jacques-de-Montcalm) (Saint Jacques de l’Achigan).  Marie-Genevieve was the child of Charles GUIMOND and Genevieve VEAU dite SYLVAIN.

Joseph MERCIER died 22 February 1859 in Saint-Jacques, Canada East .
