Joseph  married  Elisabeth SIMARD 14 July 1801 in Baie-Saint-Paul, Lower Canada .  The couple had (at least) 4 children.
Elisabeth SIMARD  was born 28 November 1779 in Baie-Saint-Paul, Québec, Canada (Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul-de-Baie-Saint-Paul).  Elisabeth died 11 March 1861 in Isle-aux-Coudres, Québec, Canada (Saint-Louis-de-l'Isle-aux-Coudres).  Elisabeth was the child of Isaac SIMARD and Agathe GIRARD.

Joseph COTE died 5 January 1834 in Les Éboulements, Lower Canada .
