Sophie  married  Jean-Baptiste FONTAINE 3 February 1823 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Lower Canada .  The couple had (at least) 1 child.
Jean-Baptiste FONTAINE  was born 23 October 1802 in Verchères, Québec, Canada (Saint-François-Xavier-de-Vercheres).  Jean-Baptiste died 1 May 1855 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire, Saint-Hyacinthe-le-Confesseur).  Jean-Baptiste was the child of François FONTAINE dit BIENVENU and Marie TESSIER.

Sophie CARIGNAN died 26 April 1882 in Saint-Hugues, Québec, Canada.
