Florent was an immigrant to the United States, arriving by 1846.

Florent  married  Marie BÉRARD dite LEPINE 10 January 1809 in Berthierville, Lower Canada .  The couple had (at least) 1 child.
Marie BÉRARD dite LEPINE  was born 8 September 1786 in Saint-Cuthbert, Québec, Canada.  Marie was the child of Pierre BÉRARD dit LEPINE and Marie-Madeleine CHIVETTE.

Florent GIASSON died 9 May 1848 in Coopersville, Clinton, New York, USA .
